Angeline Hidayat

Associate

Angeline, a dedicated Associate at ID COMM, has been an integral part of the team since 2021. Through her tenure as part of the Public Affairs team, she has gained exposure to a spectrum of national and international public development programs and spurring behavioral change, addressing pressing issues ranging from gender equality to socio-economic growth, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and politics.

As an associate at ID COMM, Angeline has contributed to various campaigns through a client-focused lens, such as the Investing in Women (IW) campaign, where she conducted gender-focused webinars and invited relevant social media influencers to speak on modern gender norms. During the Development Dialogue Asia (DDA), she aided in coordinating 30 different spokespersons to speak on five critical topics — green economy, indigenous rights, energy transition, forest preservation, and food resilience. Her multifaceted approach extended to comprehensive media monitoring, culminating in the creation of potent press kits. Angeline has also worked on other notable clients, achieving great social impact and deriving useful outcomes, such as the UN Global Pulse, LTKL-Koalisi Ekonomi Membumi, AIHSP-VAHSI, CASE-IESR, YIDH, World Bank, and UNICEF.

Prior to joining ID COMM, Angeline was a prominent member of an activism group under Komnas Perempuan. Throughout her activism tenure, she fervently supported the Sexual Violence Eradication Bill (RUU TPKS). Beyond her advocacy, she authored a seminal journal titled “The Catcalling Phenomenon as a Form of Verbal Sexual Harassment Towards Women in Jakarta” in 2019. This work gained extensive recognition and was prominently featured at the esteemed National Humanist Communication Conference (KNKH) 2019.
