Sally is a Senior Account Manager at ID COMM, where she brings a wealth of experience in communication to drive innovative strategies and creatively achieve clients’ goals.

Before ID COMM, she co-founded a local public relations agency and worked at renowned national and international publications in Southeast Asia. With a journalism career spanning about 25 years, her writings have appeared in The Jakarta Post, The Jakarta Globe, Reuters News Agency, and The London Times, among others. She covered diverse issues, from politics to culture and business, where she got to report on regional and international summits and interview prominent global figures and high-ranking officials. Other highlights of her extensive career were the assignment to cover the Indonesian Presidential Palace and working as a senior journalist at The Brunei Times in Bandar Seri Begawan for eight years.

She has been a GIZ-ASEAN and Hawaii’s Haggai Institute fellow. She interned with the Public Affairs Office/Air Control Wing at AWACS Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, where she had first-hand exposure to how public relations in the military is conducted.

Sally was born and raised in Jakarta and has traveled to more than 30 countries. When she is not immersed in her work, her favorite pastimes are jungle trekking, yoga, and reading books on biography, history, and politics.
